DEPARTMENT 1--SPECIAL AWARDS
Entry Deadline August 3, 2007
The Exhibitor of the Year award will be presented to the adult exhibitor acquiring the most points.
All entries will be eligible for Exhibitor of the Year and Award given at Annual Picnic.
A complete listing of entries on entry sheets (no other forms accepted), by department to be judged for this award must be turned in to association secretary August 3, 2007.

RULES:
1. Winner chosen from rosette winners in youth divisions "A" (ages 9-13) and
"B" (ages 14-19).
2. Open to all youth ages 9 through 19 (before December 31, of the current
year).
3. Exhibits must be from a project completed this past year.
4. A panel of judges will interview finalists. Candidates are required to
attend interview Sunday afternoon. Judges will consist of one person from
County Extension Service, one from the American Legion Post #44, and one from
the Fair board or a person selected by these groups.
5. The overall criteria will be: good workmanship, academic standing, good
quality, number of quality entries entered by person, and involvement in social
activities.
6. Person can win every other year (not consecutively). Consideration will
also be given to age of youth.
Awards will be given at 3:00 p.m., Sunday, Rosette winners can sign up
for interviews at the M.S.U. Extension Booth up until 10:00 a.m. on Sunday.
Interviews will be conducted from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. on Sunday.
